Flottweg Separation Technology - beverages
Cloudy apple juice processing
Crushed apples are passed through a Flottweg belt press. Juice is clarified by a disk stack Flottweg separator with self discharging bowl obtaining a cloudy juice without sediment.


Apple juice press system
Apple juice is produced by a Flottweg belt press in first stage and clarified by a Flottweg separator. The pomace is treated with enzymes and passed through a second belt press or a Flottweg DECANTER in order to increase the yield.


Berry juice processing system
Berries are crushed, treated with enzymes and passed through a Flottweg DECANTER. The pomace from the DECANTER is passed through a Flottweg belt press in order to increase yield.


Vegetable juice processing
Vegetables such as carrots, tomatoes, etc. are desintegrated to a fine mash. Flottweg DECANTERs or Flottweg belt presses are used for the extraction of juice from the mash.


Wort recovery from hot trub
Flottweg DECANTERs are separating hot trub from the underflow of the whirlpool which is precipitated while wort cooking. Thereby yield in wort is increased.


Beer clarification
Clarifying the beer by Flottweg disc stack  separators prior to filtration relieve the filter unit work, reduce consumption of kieselgur and increase yield in beer.


Wort clarification
Using Flottweg separators for wort clarification after cooking enable continuous operation and optimum yield in wort.


Beer recovery from yeast (tank bottom)
Flottweg SEDICANTER increase efficiency of the brewing process by optimum beer recovery from surplus yeast and tank bottoms.
