Gustav Otto, the son of the inventor of the engine factory „Otto-Motore“ founds in Munich the aircraft factory “Gustav Otto Flugmaschinenwerke”. On March 7, 1916, this company is integrated into the Bavarian aircraft factory “Bayerische Flugzeugwerke”. This is considered to be the birth of the later Bavarian Engine Company “Bayerische Motorenwerke” (BMW). |

Veronesi becomes the sales and service center for Flottweg in Italy.

Flottweg proceeds with the expansion of its product facilities. In December, the first section of the assembly hall expansion is completed. |

Flottweg Management now holds all shares of the private limited and limited partnership company on shares Flottweg GmbH & Co. KGaA.
Flottweg constructs a new office building for reception and sales. |

The expansion of the second section of the product facilities is completed. From now on, Flottweg is a shareholders´company operating under the name "Flottweg AG". However, the shares are not listed on the stock-exchange. |

On January, 1, 2008, Flottweg Separation Technology Inc., a 100% subsidiary of Flottweg AG, Vilsbiburg, Germany starts its business in Kentucky.
The inauguration ceremony took place on January, 18, 2008 together with representatives of the local authorities as well as the board of directors and the employees of the company. Flottweg Separation Technology Inc. was already founded in 2007, the offices and the workshop were completed at the end of 2007. The new company will be responsible for sales and service for Flottweg products in North America. |
