June 2006 - At the end of June, the construction of new roadwork and the relocation of utilities on Flottweg property was completed.

May 2006 - During the ACHEMA 2006, the leading international forum for chemical, environmental, and biotechnology in Frankfurt, Flottweg made utilized the time to train its international sales organization during multiple sessions.

April 2006 - New decanter Z5E completed. The successor of the Z53 fulfills higher technical requirements and is suitable for processing food, beverage, and starch.

February 2006 -
Turin, City of the XX. Olympic Winter Games 2006, placed an order with Flottweg for 4 large centrifuges for the dewatering of sewage sludge.

At the end of February, the Flottweg sales department moved into their new office building.

January 2006 - Veronesi Separatori S.p.A., the Italian subsidiary of Flottweg GmbH & Co. KGaA, founded in 1906, has been recognized for a hundred years of operation.

On December 31 2005, the INVEST AG resigned from being a shareholder and has transferred all shares to the Flottweg management, which now holds all shares of the company. The Flottweg management thanks INVEST AG for the support during the acquisition of the company shares and the very positive cooperation during the last several years. However, INVEST AG’s holding company, the Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich, will remain a business partner of Flottweg. By request of the management, the president of the INVEST AG, Magister Christian Nimmervoll, will continue to hold the position of president of the supervisory board.

December 2005 - In order to effectiveley handle the still positive order intake, Flottweg will continue with further construction works for the expansion of the production area. In December, the first construction stage of the assembly hall was completed.

November 2005 - For a nickel-ore mine in New Caledonia Flottweg was awarded for an order of 9 large decanters after successful tests and tough negotiations.

October 2005 - In October 30 of a total of 42 containers were shipped to Kasachstan for the waste management of oil lakes. The trade procedure of this project was very labor intensive and requested a logistic masterpiece.
While the first plant already has been taken up operation this year, the other plants will be installed end of this year to be commissioned in spring 2006.

September 2005 - For the largest environmental project in Europe, 8 waste water treatment plants in St. Petersburg, Russia, Flottweg delivers 31 decanter centrifuges!

August 2005 -
Currently the final acceptance tests are carried out for 4 large decanters for Barcelona.

July 2005 - According to the business development, Flottweg started the expansion of the assembly hangar and the construction of the first stage of a multi-part office building.

June 2005 - Flottweg obtained a big order comprising 8 large decanters for a protein-recovery plant in China.

April/May 2005 - At our this year’s sales meeting, 55 participants from 35 countries all over the world gathered for training as well as exchange of ideas and experience. The representatives were informed about positive sales figures and about the most recent development at Flottweg by lectures. Finally, a joyous evening with medieval music and decent food in a pleasant atmosphere on the Trausnitz castle in Landshut rounded off the successful days.

At the IFAT 2005 trade fair in Munich, Flottweg was present with the slogan “Flottweg Separation Technology – Top quality - designed and manufactured in Germany“. The order intake this April which is likely to be the highest in Flottweg’s history proves that the customers do appreciate the outstanding quality of our products. We are especially delighted that one of the biggest fruit juice producers in Europe purchased a Flottweg disk clarifier type AC2500 after successful tests.

March 2005 - Flottweg is awarded for the delivery of the complete separation technology to the largest plant for the recovery of gluten from wheat starch in Kasachstan.

February 2005 - February 1st 2005, the 5555th Flottweg centrifuge was completed! It will be delivered with two more units to a sewage plant at Lueneburger Heide/Germany.Pic

January 2005 - After successful tests, the new Flottweg disc stack centrifuge AC1500 is released for sale.

December 2004 - A customer from Siberia informed us these days, that his Flottweg oil sludge decanter has been processing oil sludge for more than 100,000 hours under most extreme conditions.

November 2004 - Once more the City of Hamburg decided to purchase large decanter centrifuges from Flottweg. This time, 6 units for the dewatering of sewage sludge (biosolids). The sewage plant of the city of Hamburg already has several large FLOTTWEG DECANTERS for the thickening of sewage sludge. So, in the future, sewage sludge from the city of Hamburg will be thickened and dewatered by FLOTTWEG DECANTERS exclusively.

October 2004 - Flottweg starts up a high speed machining center in the production facility. It is used especially for the manufacturing of parts for disc stack centrifuges.

September 2004 - Loading of a complete Flottweg centrifuge installation for recycling of oil lagoons in Kasakhstan in 14 containers of the German Federal Railway.

Again Flottweg hires 8 trainees for industrial mechanician and energy electrician. So our share of trainees represents 10% which is far higher than the German average of 6.4%.


August 2004 - Two large Flottweg decanters will be used for drilling mud separation for forcing the “Elbtunnel”.

July 2004 - The “Berliner Wasserbetriebe” place another order to Flottweg for two more large centrifuges for sewage-sludge dewatering

June 2004 - Delivery and installation of three high-capacity decanters for the mining industry in Russia.

May 2004 - Despite fierce competition regarding the replacement of the 18-year old Flottweg centrifuges in the Regensburg/ Bavaria sewage plant, Flottweg again wins the bid for five new high-efficiency decanters.

April 2004 - “Open Doors” for relatives and friends of Flottweg employees on April 24th meets with wide interest. An estimated crowd of 2000 flock into the Flottweg plant enthusiastic to see the modern facility and the products we make.

March 2004 - Again Flottweg succeeds in a bid for one of the large bio-ethanol facilities; this time in Europe.

January 2004 - Flottweg has started with the production of disc stack centrifuges at their headquarters in Vilsbiburg, Germany.

December 2003 - A large decanter with a diameter greater than 900mm has been supplied to Sardinia for plastics production.

November 2003 - By November 1st, 2003 Flottweg, Vilsbiburg, has completely taken over development, design and manufacturing of the disc stack centrifuges from their subsidiary Veronesi Separatori.
With this step we concentrate engineering- and production resources in one location to optimize the performance of the Flottweg Group.
Furthermore Veronesi, Bologna, will remain responsible for their customers including sales of the "new" automatic centrifuge series (AC types) in Italy and after sales service for centrifuges built and /or sold by their organization.
By this measure we are convinced to successfully meet the market requirements and enabling an even better support to our customers worldwide

October 2003 - Successful Recertification. Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) certifies to the FLOTTWEG GROUP full compliance with the new standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. We will continue to provide our customers with the best quality and service available.

September 2003 - Since September, 9 new trainees for the industrial division have been employed – 2 more than the year before.

August 2003 - Despite or just because of the “heatwave”, Flottweg received an order for a hygienic disc stack centrifuge completely in stainless steel for high capacity to be used in the food industry as well as an order from North America for a Sedicanter completely in stainless steel for soy milk.

July 2003 - In a Dutch pulp and paper plant belt presses for clarification of waste water are replaced by four new FLOTTWEG DECANTERS.

June 2003 - Since this month, the new high efficiency machining center for turning, drilling and milling with a single setting has been in operation for rotating shifts.
Veronesi has been awarded an order for Flottweg of another large decanter for plastic production in Italy.

May 2003 - On the ACHEMA 2003 in Frankfurt/Germany - the world forum for the process industry - the Flottweg booth as well as the presented products like the SEDICANTER and the disc stack centrifuge in ATEX version have met with great interest.

April 2003 - Delivery of four (4) large centrifuges for the Athens waste treatment plant.

March 2003 - The largest German waste treatment plant - Emscher Cooperative - has placed an order with Flottweg valued at more than 2.6 mio. EUR for the Dinslaken plant.

February 2003 - Separator Systems, valued at over 700,000 EUR, are ready for delivery for the "Horizon Class" vessels of the Italian and French Navies. A new, five-axis machining center for the manufacture of Separators, has been placed into operation at the Bologna facilities

January 2003 - A major fruit juice producer in China purchased five additional high capacity belt presses from Flottweg. This purchase makes them China's number 1 fruit juice producer, and the number 2 producer worldwide!

December 2002 - Flottweg became independent from it's parent companies. The company is registered according to the German Register of Companies (Amtsgericht Landshut HRB 5945 21.11.02) as Flottweg GmbH & Co. KGaA.

- Successful completion of the SORTEC 3.0 recycling facility expansion in Hannover, Germany. This facility incorporates four (4) FLOTTWEG SORTICANTER® Model K6E centrifuges to continuously separate and sort plastics into the different plastics fractions on a 24 hour basis. Photo.JPG.

- Flottweg ships 3 big solid bowl centrifuges for lignine production to South Africa. One of them is the 5000th solid bowl centrifuge, Flottweg manufactured in Vilsbiburg.

August 2002 - Flottweg/Veronesi manufactured the first "soft shot" AC 1000 disc centrifuge for the mineral oil industry.

July 2002 - Ownership of Flottweg has changed. From now on, 60% is owned by the Flottweg Management, 40% by Invest AG, a subsidiary of Austrian Raiffeisen Landesbank.


June 2002 - Flottweg started to manufacture the "FLOTTWEG SIMP-DRIVE®" by themselves.

May 2002 - At the moment, Flottweg is loading 15 containers for a fish meal separation plant with 5 big Flottweg decanters for Iran.

April 2002 - With a Finnish engineering contractor, Flottweg started a new starch plant in China with a wellknown customer, who appreciates the performance of the plant with Flottweg centrifuges very much.

March 2002 - To strengthen Flottweg's market position in the UK, an exclusive sales- and service agreement with the British company DIRK was signed.

February 2002 - After successful operation in the past vine season, the biggest German vine producer buys the new developed disc centrifuge AC2500 for clarifying most and vine. The characteristics of this centrifuge are high throughputs and yields at a lower noise level than others.

January 2002 -
A northern German waste disposal and recycling company has developed a pioneering method to extract biogas from starchy waste water. Flottweg supplies decanters for sludge thickening and dewatering and for the separation of protein to make this process economically viable.

December 2001 -
One of the biggest, most renowned, European producer of beverages and food, has been using Flottweg-Sedicanter technology for separation of soya milk over several years with temendous success. This firm orders a further four Flottweg-Sedikanter centrifuges to achieve their planned expansion of production.

December 2001 -
The Berliner Wasserbetriebe (Berlin Water Works) order another Flottweg Z92-4/454 OSE high performance decanter with accessories. The new unit will provide the necessary capacity increase for surplus sludge thickening at a sewage treatment plant. The order also includes an option for two more decanters of the same type as well as for the necessary work to upgrade the existing plant processing capacity to 185 m³/h surplus sludge per machine.

November 2001 - The KAIZEN project, which was implemented to optimize Flottweg’s stock-holding area, finishes successfully and according to plan with the erection of a canopy over the open space.

Oktober 2001 - Our business in the olive oil market in Spain develops successfully through the cooperation of Flottweg-Iberica with our new partner Joaquin Palacin, S.L., Ubeda.

September 2001 - Flottweg starts-up a new apple juice concentrate line for the biggest Chinese fruit juice producer. Four belt presses, type BFRU 2500 LR, are installed for processing 50 t/h apples. Flottweg delivers the complete plant starting from the feeding line to the raw juice (two-step-press-system with extraction). This project enables Flottweg to maintain impressively its  leading position in the Chinese juice market.

Flottweg has successfully completed manufacture of our first series of AC2500 disk stack clarifiers which, amongst other things, have application as purifiers for wine and fruit juice. Most of this series are already sold.

In August 2001 Flottweg put into operation the complete skid-mounted barite recovery system for a well known drilling mud service company in North Africa.

In April 2001 Flottweg received from Tyssen Krupp Stahl AG the order for a coking plant.

The scope of supply comprises two gastight Flottweg decanter centrifuges type Z6E-3/451 for tar clarification as well as the control unit for inert gas and control of flushing of the gas seal system with steam.

The throughput of each decanter centrifuge for tar clarification is 20 cbm/h.

Successful sale of two wheat starch plants with Flottweg Tricanter® Technology.

In December 2000 Flottweg has delivered two complete wheat starch systems for more than 2 million EUR, one for a project in China and one for a project in France.

At the end of september 2000 another belt press unit, with a capacity of 25 t/h apples, was put into operation by Flottweg successfully at the company Yantai North Andre /China. During this start-up, the unit was accepted by the customer without any exceptions.
