Flottweg opened its doors on Career Information Day

On Saturday, July 08, 2023, the machine manufacturer Flottweg held its career information day for apprenticeships in Plant 1. Around 300 visitors were given an insight into the working world of the separation technology specialist and had the opportunity to get to know the training workshop. Currently, Flottweg offers training in the following four professions: Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d), Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d), Warehouse Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) and Industrial Clerk with additional qualification in foreign languages (m/f/d).

Career information day with a varied program

A special highlight of the career information day was the forklift and welding simulator. Here, those interested had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of work at first hand and to experience the various work activities virtually. In addition, students and their parents were able to work on various projects in the training workshop and get to know the numerous production machines for turning, milling and drilling. During a tour of one of the most modern production facilities in Bavaria, visitors also asked questions about the various work steps, areas of responsibility and career opportunities at Flottweg.

 

Training Manager Daniel Wimmer is enthusiastic about the Career Info Day: "The Career Info Day at Flottweg was a complete success this year! It was fantastic to experience the interest and enthusiasm of the young participants. We hope that we were able to give them an inspiring insight into our training programs and look forward to welcoming some of them as part of our talented team at Flottweg in the near future."
