Flottweg Welcomes Future Apprentices and Their Families

An apprenticeship with added value, modern training opportunities and a cohesive team - that's what training at mechanical engineering company Flottweg is all about. To make it easier for trainees in the upcoming 2026 training year to start their careers and to give them an in-depth insight into the world of work at Flottweg, Flottweg once again organized an introduction day for trainees and their families. With a current total of 51 trainees, Flottweg is one of the most popular training companies in the Landshut area. 

On July 10, Flottweg welcomed 51 future apprentices and their families to this year’s Information Day at its Vilsbiburg headquarters. The event offered the opportunity to gain their first insights into their future working environment before officially starting their training. At the same time, parents and family members were able to learn more about the company and the wide range of apprenticeship opportunities available at Flottweg.

Following a company presentation, guests received an overview of Flottweg and its apprenticeship programs. Afterwards, trainers from the various departments were available for personal discussions and answered questions about vocational training, day-to-day work, and career development opportunities within the company.

A shared snack break provided an opportunity for future apprentices, their families, and Flottweg employees to get to know one another and exchange ideas. The day concluded with a tour of Plant 2, where visitors gained first-hand insights into the company’s modern work areas and manufacturing processes.

The Parents’ Information Day is an important part of Flottweg’s commitment to developing young talent. The event helps ease the transition into professional life, provides guidance before the start of training, and strengthens the connection between the company, its apprentices, and their families.

Flottweg currently offers apprenticeships in the following professions:

• Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d)
• Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d)
• Industrial Management Assistant (m/f/d) with an additional qualification as a Certified Specialist in Foreign Language Communication
