Flottweg Reaffirms Commitment to the Principles of the UN Global Compact

Flottweg SE, a global leader in mechanical separation technology, is continuing its commitment to responsible corporate governance as a participant in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). Since joining the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative in 2023, the company has remained committed to its ten universal principles. More than 25,000 participants across over 160 countries are currently involved in the initiative.

By continuing its participation in the UN Global Compact, Flottweg reaffirms its commitment to responsible business practices in the areas of governance, human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. At the same time, the company supports the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and continuously integrates these principles into its business processes and corporate strategy.

„As a manufacturing company, we have a special responsibility toward both the environment and society. Our machines for solid/liquid separation already make an important contribution to environmental protection and resource conservation. Our commitment to the UN Global Compact provides an important foundation for further embedding sustainability throughout Flottweg,” emphasizes Dr. Kersten Christoph Link, CEO of Flottweg SE. “In addition, participation in the UN Global Compact not only strengthens Flottweg’s credibility in international markets, but also provides a platform for exchanging ideas with other companies and organizations committed to a sustainable future.“

The separators, decanter centrifuges, and belt presses developed by Flottweg help customers around the world use resources efficiently, support circular economy processes, and make industrial operations more sustainable. By continuing its engagement with the UN Global Compact, the company reinforces its commitment to combining economic success with environmental responsibility and social accountability.
