Flottweg is once again sponsoring the Germany Scholarship this year

The Germany Scholarship, a coveted support for students, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Flottweg has backed the scholarship for several years and is pleased to be able to foster two students of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology once again this year.

Students who qualify for the scholarship through both academic achievements and social aspects receive the coveted support. The scholarship comprises a monthly sum of 300 euro, half of which is provided by a sponsor and the other half by the federal government.

Flottweg is currently sponsoring students of the OTH Regensburg, the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences and the Deggendorf Institute of Technology.

This year, Flottweg supported two students at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology. Maria Huber is studying mechanical engineering and plans to do a master’s degree after completing her bachelor studies. The scholarship gave her the opportunity to gain an insight into the global market of successful companies. Moreover, she hopes that the scholarship will enable her to obtain an overview of the day-to-day work and areas of responsibility at Flottweg.

Simon Schweighart is studying electrical and information technology and, after completing his degree, aims to work in the field of automation engineering. In addition to the financial aspect, he particularly appreciates the contact with the companies that is provided by the scholarship. The student has already reached out to Flottweg and was able to gain initial insights into the company.

We wish the students every success in their studies and look forward to welcoming them to Flottweg as part of a tour.
