Two former apprentices from Flottweg SE have been recognized by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) of Lower Bavaria for their outstanding performance in the 2026 final examinations. With Marie Melzer, Flottweg also proudly counts one of the region’s top graduates among its ranks.
During an award ceremony at the IHK Center in Landshut, the IHK of Lower Bavaria honored the highest-achieving graduates of the 2026 examination year. Among those recognized were two young professionals from Flottweg SE.
Marie Melzer and Luis Wythe with their trainers Stefan Rauscher and Daniel Wimmer at the award ceremony.Marie Melzer completed her apprenticeship as a Warehouse Logistics Specialist with exceptional results and was named the top graduate in her field across the entire Lower Bavaria IHK district.
Luis Wythe was also recognized for completing his apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic with outstanding results. Out of approximately 2,700 exam candidates across the district, only 40 graduates achieved the top grade of 1.
“These awards are a special recognition of our apprentices’ achievements,” says Daniel Wimmer, Head of Training at Flottweg SE. “Throughout their apprenticeship, Marie and Luis demonstrated a high level of commitment, a strong willingness to learn, and exceptional technical skills. We are very proud of their accomplishments and are delighted that both will continue their professional careers at Flottweg.”
For 80 years, training and developing skilled professionals has been a key priority at Flottweg. In this anniversary year of apprenticeship training at the company, the achievements of Marie Melzer and Luis Wythe once again highlight the importance of hands-on, high-quality vocational education.
With around 100 apprentices, dual-study students, and interns, Flottweg is one of the leading training providers in the region. The close connection between theory and practice, modern training conditions, and the personal support provided by experienced trainers create the foundation for successful qualifications and long-term career opportunities.
“Well-trained and motivated skilled professionals are essential to our company’s long-term success,” adds Wimmer. “That is why we view apprenticeship training not only as an investment in Flottweg’s future, but also as an important contribution to securing skilled talent in the region.”
The awards presented by the IHK of Lower Bavaria demonstrate that commitment, dedication, and high-quality vocational training pay off, benefiting both the young professionals themselves and the company.
