The sewage treatment plant in Trier (Germany) is a purely municipal sewage treatment plant with anaerobic sludge stabilization. The Flottweg centrifuge is used for excess sludge thickening. The plant is designed for a population of 170,000. After comparing multiple systems the decision was made to go with the Flottweg OSE Decanter.
