Flottweg Manufactures Its 17,000th Machine: Milestone for the International Olive Oil Industry

Flottweg has reached another milestone in its company history: the 17,000th machine for mechanical separation has been successfully manufactured and is ready for delivery. The anniversary machine is an AC1700 separator that will be used in Greece for the fine clarification of olive oil.

Since 1956, Flottweg has been developing and manufacturing high-performance solutions for mechanical separation technology. Today, the company’s equipment is used worldwide across a wide range of industries, from food and beverage processing and biotechnology to environmental applications. The production of the 17,000th machine highlights the company’s continuous development and the strong global demand for separation technology engineered in Germany.

The milestone machine was manufactured for Flottweg’s long-standing partner, Oliotech, in Greece. There, it will be used in the production of high-quality olive oils. The olive oil industry has been one of the key application areas for Flottweg’s separation technology for decades. Around the world, olive oil producers rely on the company’s high-performance decanter centrifuges, separators, and Tricanter® systems to continuously improve yield, product quality, and process efficiency.

The AC1700 separator is used for the fine clarification of olive oil, ensuring the reliable removal of remaining solid particles and residual water. With a processing capacity of up to 3,300 liters per hour, the machine makes an important contribution to the production of high-quality olive oil.
