A key component of TecDay was a diverse lecture program featuring contributions from industry, research, and application engineering. Parallel expert sessions addressed current topics such as the circular economy, alternative proteins, biotechnology, hygienic design, process and plant optimization, as well as laboratory analytics. Technical presentations and additional perspectives from external partners and representatives of various institutes enriched the program.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hermann Nirschl also emphasized the central role of separation technology in his opening in his opening keynote on the main stage: "Solid-liquid separation is relevant in nearly all areas of life." Accordingly, the event covered a broad range of topics – from food processing and biotechnology to environmental and recycling applications.
Concrete application examples included presentations on the utilization of by-products in the food industry as well as the processing of raw materials for the production of plant-based proteins, highlighting their economic potential.
